About it the president of the Ukrainian agrarian confederation Leonid Kozachenko has declared today at press conference. "If Ukraine uses the agricultural potential on 100 %, we can make production on $45-50 billion (if to take in the base prices of last year). And it means that we can export on $30-40 billion production", - has assured Kozachenko. "If to compare productivity of grain crops on the Ukrainian fields to productivity on fields in the USA and the EU countries it in 3 times below productivity in the USA and in 2,5 times more low, than in EU", - the expert has noted. According to Kozachenko, comparing average productivity grain in Great Britain and Ukraine, in Britain over the last 5 years it makes 6,4 tons/hectares, this indicator is equal in Ukraine to 3 tons/hectares. However, as he said, use of mineral fertilizers in Great Britain in 16 times more, than in Ukraine, protection frames of plants - in 3,5 times is more. This country at 7-10 time surpasses Ukraine In maintenance with agricultural technics. "That is if to us at least twice to improve this resource which we use for manufacture we can double grain manufacture in Ukraine, considering, of course, it is suitable-environmental conditions, the earth and other advantages which the domestic agriculture" has, - the expert believes.
