Ukrainian banks with foreign capital are the most reliable, according to a research made by DAGDA company in early May 2009 devoted to problems of the biggest banks of Ukraine, the Delo newspaper reports. The group of the most reliable banks consists of 100-percent foreign capital, without a big branch network and with unprecedented high level of foreign support. Calyon Bank Ukraine, Citibank (Ukraine), ING Bank Ukraine are included into the list of these banks, according to experts. Traditionally these banks are open for big corporate clients. Experts are recommending people to pay attention to the banks with foreign capitals that have a well-developed retail chain and high level of foreign support. Ukrsibbank (BNP Paribas), Forum (Commerzbank), Swedbank, Ukrsotsbnak (UniCredit Group), Pravex-Bank (Intesa SanPaolo), Erstebank (Erste Group), Alfa-Bank, VAB-Bank are included into the group. According to experts, these financial centers are able to survive during a crisis even under the most favorable scenario of national economics. |
